Marsha's Bio

Marsha Crockett is an award-winning author who writes and speaks with a heart touched by God. Her mission in life is to unveil God's presence in the ordinary corners of life. She has authored five books including the most recent from NavPress, Break Through: Unearthing God's Image to Find the Real You. Additionally, she has contributed to 6 others, including the Couple's Devotional Bible, and has written dozens of magazine articles.  She speaks to women's groups, in churches, at writer's conferences and retreat settings. She also leads workshops in the business world on stress reduction, career building, and defining success.

Her Writer's Retreats, Beyond Words, inspire attendees to explore the divine possibilities of life through writing, journaling and language as an open door to the "inner place" where God speaks to each of us.  Marsha lives in Phoenix, AZ where she is involved in her local church, always seeking ways to help others find their niche and hone their God-given gifts.
Look Who's Talking...

"In this truly refreshing book, Dancing in the Desert, Crockett guides readers through reflections on many difficult areas of life. Unlike other authors who have attempted to navigate this harsh landscape, Crockett avoids simply giving up or handing out simplistic answers. For each area of "desert" she offers biblical hope and help with integrating that hope during the desert times of our lives. She also provides some marvelous imagery...it will have great appeal as a devotional/journaling companion." Publisher's Weekly 02/10/03

"Crockett digs deep and helps readers re-examine their presuppositions. [Her] writing is certain to have a calming influence on many a reader." Christian Retailing book review

"I have been deeply impacted by this book Dancing in the Desert. Rather than offering detached observations, Marsha walks beside us. She presses hard into the struggles of kingdom living, bringing joy and hope." Tricia McCary Rhodes, Author of The Soul at Rest and Contemplating the Cross

"Your gentle manner sent the ladies out with such a sense of God's peace. We have received overwhelmingly positive feedback on the event and our tape room has received numerous requests for copies of your teaching." B
renda Hughes, Women of Calvary, Albuquerque NM

"Her 'Christ in me' message, coupled with her gentle invitation to walk with God compelled our women to begin a relationship with Jesus, renew their commitment to him, or deepen their love for him.'   Syl
